Ladies and gentlemen..... I present to you a new game!
Is played in a similar way to the Guess the Movie Game, but with some differences....
This game is played by posting one screenshot taken from a game (ONLY one), and then players guessing the correct game, upon which they may post a new screenshot for others to guess. You can also give clues.
For those who are lacking in technical proficiency, a search engine such as google can be used to find screen shots to post.
- RULES -
As this forum is multi-national, be aware that the original poster may not be in your time zone. Expect time delays, to cut down on lags in the game, whilst preventing confusion, please adhere to the rules below.
Before posting your screenshot, please make sure you re-name the file. eg, game1 and not the name of the game.
Do NOT -repeat- Do Not, post a screen shot if it is not your turn.
If you have made a guess, and can provide a link to back up your guess to show that you are correct, and another player can confirm that you are correct, you may post a new screenshot.
If, however, there is any doubt as to whether you have guessed correctly, please wait twelve hours before posting a new screenshot.
If you guess correctly, and it is confirmed, but you fail to post a Screenshot within one hour, you must either give up your turn to a specific person, or declare it open to the first poster, otherwise your turn will revert to the original poster, who must post within the next hour, or it will be declared open to first comer.
Same series + same engine = It counts as the same game
Examples;
do Lost Planet: Extreme Condition and Lost Planet: Extreme Condition Colonies Edition count as different games? NO
do Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode One and Half-Life 2: Episode Two count as different games? NO
do Quake II and Quake III Arena count as different games? Obviously, YES
The screenshot must be taken from the actual gameplay. Pics taken from cutscenes/movies inside a game are not allowed.
The use of image identification sites is not allowed. I'll be personally monitoring the game to detect cheaters.
