My room mates computer went through an update. It got the update and then when it restarts it goes to the update screen and goes to about 10% completed and then says that it cannot complete the update. It then "reverts" back and then restarts the computer over again. It then begins to scan and clean the D: drive and begins again the same process as before with the 10%, reversion, restart, and so on and so forth. I do not know what to do other than possibly have to remove his hard drive and somehow backing up his files and putting a new OP system on there...and I do not really know how to do that. Please, any help is welcome and very much needed!
